First, I have to say this is absolutely the best assessment of what this white Harris supporter has been writing about for months now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting this out there.

I’ve written several pieces, the first of which — “Kamala Harris vs Drinking Heavily and Waiting to Die” — went crazy viral, and it was specifically on the bizarre read on that first debate by people who thought the well prepared black, professional woman was “mean” to the ill-prepared old white guy. I mean, if Joe Biden had seized the moment, that whole conversation could have gone a totally different way and been a big win for him. But he didn’t.

The second piece — “The ‘Benign’ Racism of White Liberals Will Re-Elect Donald Trump” — was in direct response to the pretty brazen and mortifying comments — hundreds of them — from white men of all ages, about that “black” woman’s being “unfit” for office. The dissembling was so thinly veiled, where they bothered to veil it, that there was no doubt what was up with that. And sorry y’all boys, but you sit in your private, dark space at your computer and tell me that nasty shit, and I will put it in print and rat you out.

And the third piece — “Kamala Harris: ‘Fierce Prosecutor’ vs the ‘Progressive Activist’ & Lara Bazelon’s Big Fail” — is a destruction of some wild misinformation about Harris’s record spread by the far left, who apparently have no investment in the truth. The mere fact that she was an effective prosecutor seems to have a bug so far up their asses that the simple truth does not exist there.

I’ve written some other articles about real vulnerabilities in Elizabeth Warren’s messaging and on Tulsi Gabbard’s nutty singling out of Harris, and just why — I believe — that happened. But as all this reaction and input has been flooding back to me, I am convinced that right wing operatives and Russian bots are working overtime to undermine Kamala Harris because they see her as the single biggest threat to, not only Donald Trump, but to whatever broader agenda they have. Even as this administration is collapsing, I believe they still fancy they can find a way to beat Elizabeth Warren. But Kamala Harris unleashed would be not only a legislative and prosecutorial nightmare, but it really would indicate that the country had pulled another “Barack Obama” and that this time they have no means of wresting back control.

And God knows, if Donald Trump is the best recourse you’ve got against all Obama represented and reflected, you are shit out of ideas.
