Have you heard this guy: I live in NYC and have run in Trump circles. He is hated here for the rabid racism and for driving some small businesses into bankruptcy by not paying them and filing frivolous lawsuits to run them out of business. Businessmen find him incompetent, which is why--after losing it all repeatedly--the only job he could get was playing a billionaire on TV. Whatever horror falls on his head is a manifestation of his soul.
And he is decompensating before our eyes.
Last week, in a desperate attempt not to completely ditch his campaign in Georgia, he tweeted good love for Kemp. No doubt at the beseeching of his team, but that will only last a minute.
That's Trump, expect nothing else and I can't imagine why you seem surprised. But the real question is why Kemp continues to passively support this creep? And why is Kemp allowing Trump to even weigh in on the Georgia Election Board, putting loyalists in play to try to slow the certification?
Why is Kemp permitting these voter disenfranchisement activities knowing he will end up in court over them and perhaps obstruct the right of Georgians to have their votes counted? Why is he covering for this guy who attacked his wife and encouraged extremists to attack his home and his family? One really must ask WTF is wrong with Brian Kemp?
They've played this game before and in the end they have thus far done the right thing, but why is he even allowing it to be opened up to DOJ scrutiny when, as governor, he can just shut that shit down?
The former Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, Geoff Duncan, has endorsed Harris because he doesn't want his state aligned with Trump madness; Brad Raffensberger won in a landslide after Trump tried to destroy him for not skewing the results for him in '20, yet Raffensberger is still participating in voter disenfranchisement efforts.
So one really must ask not what's up with Trump--bec Trump is being Trump--but what is wrong with Republican officials in Georgia? They just can't quit him.
