the galling thing about this is that we have conclusive evidence now that trump is in putin’s pocket, that he himself is the worst of criminals and traitor to his country; that mitch mcconnell is essentially a russian asset; and that bill barr simply doesn’t give a rat’s ass.

whatever can be said about the “morality” or the “righteousness” of the death penalty, these are not the people who should be weighing it: criminals bent on use this draconian measure against people they consider less “entitled” than themselves. people who will kill people to get their racist base frothing at the mouth. people who seriously deeply desire to end the lives of opposition who seek to hold them accountable.

your piece was a good start, but the dark truth is a deeper dive.

cause if we are going to look into traitors justifying the death penalty as consequence, perhaps we should look first at jared kushner’s complicity in the death of a reporter for the washington post.
