Shapiro has not been governor long enough. Roy Cooper is finishing two terms in North Carolina and Andy Beshear is in his second term in Kentucky.

An amiable qualified man with a southern drawl that might put a lot of southern dems--esp men--at some ease, cause this is a lot for those guys. Those white men who are making the effort to be okay with all this change would be helped if the VP was someone they can see themselves in.
