The whole insane effort to reopen the country by Easter was rooted in the fact that his properties are collapsing. Unlike a real rich guy, he does not have the buffer in reserve and no bank will give him money, so last week the Kushner property on Times Square failed to make the mortgage payment.

Then we find that he’s emptied the national stockpile and sent our medical supplies overseas knowing full well that the virus would be here in a matter of months so now we are buying our own supplies back as he tries to cover his ass.

Forcing governors into a bidding war over supplies he knew he’d already sold overseas and to private entities was intended to drive up the prices as the money flowed into the slush fund he’s desperately and brazenly attempting to use to pull his own interests out of the shitter.

Last week Boston’s governor was expected to take delivery on 9 million masks he’d ordered from China: the Trump administration confiscated them for the same ‘national stockpile’ when they entered the Port of New York. Hence the relief when the Patriots pulled strings to find some more masks, because the Trump administration stole the ones the state had actually paid for.

The week before a company in Texas donated 9 million masks to distribute to the states. Mike Pence stepped in to confiscate those, sending 6 million to the self same ‘national stockpile’ never to be seen by the governors again.

This drug his is hyping is by Novartis, Rudy Guilliani bought $2 mil in Novartis stock in February. If Trump can artificially inflate Novartis stock prices by pushing a drug useless — perhaps even dangerous — in the treatment of Covid-19, what might be in it for him? What might Novartis do to show their gratitude?

Donald Trump’s whole brand is imploding and he will throw us all under the bus to try to save himself and he’s so desperate, so flagrant, so brazen that he doesn’t care whether he’s doing it in plain sight.

No one has stopped him yet, and he’s crazy enough to believe he can’t be stopped. We shall see.
