This is interesting theoretically but there is no tone of any sort or manner that will get Alexa in my house. There are so very many things that shouldn’t be done just because technology can do it, this is one of them.

And I guarantee you, the very same people who are fascinated and invested in humanizing Alexa will be outraged — outraged I tell you — when they get the memo that corporations or marketing entities are using that technology to listen to them in their private space, manipulating “her” emotive features to manipulate their emotions and their choices.
