Yeah, that stages of life where it is always 'goodbye.'

My dad grew up with Willie and I've met him a few times decades ago, and I remember standing just off the stage at 4:00 in the morning at a private event when he started 'Whiskey River' for the third time. He just loved the music, his friends and the weed.

My father died a few months ago and one would think that his death would hit me harder than the prospect of Willie dying, but it doesn't. Just the thought of it makes me weep.
